			Panel Facts

			Tell me more about how you deliver these panels, as well as, the costs involved. Panels are delivered by common carrier, or by IB Panels ®, on a flat-bed trailer. Panels are bound in units and are very compact, and do not take up a lot of load space. Costs involved are approximately $1.50 per loaded mile.

Getting Started

We specialize in the custom manufacturing of Structural Insulated Panels to suit your needs. Because of this, we do not have floor-plans to pick and choose from. We give bids based on architectural plans or blueprints submitted. This helps us to provide you with a more accurate bid. The more detailed the plan, the more accurate the estimate. The following is the recommended protocol for getting started;

We will send you an estimate on what the SIPs panel package will cost for your design.
This checklist (PDF format) lists all of the information/materials we must have prior to beginning a project.
When the job becomes a project, we begin work on the shop drawings. Once the shop drawings are completed, our structural engineer will run the numbers for loads on the Structral Insulated Panels and then engineer stamp the panel plans. NOTE: if you make any changes (regardless how minor) after the redlines are signed off, it is considered a "change order" and it WILL cause delays.
Upon final approval of the overall plan, IB Panels ® will begin the construction and assembly of the high quality SIPs panels for your project.
Final payment of the remaining 50% is expected prior to delivery.

NOTE: Turn around time varies during the different parts of the year. We can give you a general idea of what the turn around time is, but due to circumstances that can occur, beyond our control, turn around times can face delays.
