			Panel Facts

			What types of siding can you use with panels? Wide range of sidings have been used on panels. The major concern would be heavier siding and how it would attach to the OSB. We solve this problem by basically shortening the fastener spacings in smaller dimensions.

Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) - Ease of Construction

Custom made and ready to assemble, these Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) are pre-engineered at the factory and delivered to the job site as a complete package. With IB Panels' ® custom designed system and pre-numbered panel installation

is performed with ease, allowing for a considerable reduction of on-site time, on-site labor, and the length of time the Structural Insulated Panels are exposed to outside elements.

The Structural Insulated Panel system is a sectional portion of the floors, walls and/or roof consisting of a 6 to 12 inch core panels of Expanded Polystyrene laminated between two layers of Oriented Strand Board (OSB) or other engineered materials. The panels are pre-manufactured as specified and assembled on site. The Structural Insulated Panel system reduces on-site labor by up to 40%.

The weight of these panels also assist in quicker building times. As pictured above, two people can assemble the panel wall structures. The following is the average weight ratio:
