			Panel Facts

			What types of siding can you use with panels? Wide range of sidings have been used on panels. The major concern would be heavier siding and how it would attach to the OSB. We solve this problem by basically shortening the fastener spacings in smaller dimensions.

About Us

IB Panels ® was established in December of 1995 in Jerome, Idaho. The owner Arlo G. Lott who currently owns a trucking company was involved with several foam companies and OSB companies. He became aware of the Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) and saw a need for foam panels in the northwest and decided to start a panel company.

Once the type of Structural Insulated Panel system was developed, IBP renovated a warehouse in Jerome and began manufacturing machinery for Structural Insulated Panel fabrication. After this was completed, IB Panels ® began the testing process using a number of testing labs throughout the nation to satisfy all compliance requirements of ICBO (International Conference of Building Officials) and other code agencies. Since then we have shipped panels to several different states including Alaska, Arizona, Nebraska, Washington, Oregon and many more, exporting panels as far as Tokyo, Japan.
