Enlarge Photo		If you cannot avoid exterior walls the most effective way to route plumbing supplies and vents is to have chases installed during manufactoring.

		You can build a surface wall chase for plumbing lines (vents and supply lines).

		Plumbing units that are located against outside walls can have drains and vents installed by using a loop vent.

		A combination waste and vent known as a wet-vented system can also be used.

		It is best to keep vents to a minimum because the potential for air leaks through an excessive number of roof penetrations.
